Vv4 AGRI has regulated atmosphere (RA) cold storage space available in a room with the capacity for 2,000 bins at constant temperature of -0.5º C.  A maximum of 100 bins per day can be added as pre-cooling is not currently available.  Data loggers continuously record the temperature of the room and core of the product.  The cold storage facility is PPECB registered. 
 The service offering
The cold storage facility is running 24 hours per day.  Cold storage space is offered at your specified temperature.  A knowledgeable agricultural expert ensures that stacking is done according to good and sound practices in the industry.
Vv4 AGRI is centrally situated in the Boland area and the cold storage space is thus available to farmers throughout this region.  The property is protected using a alarm system that is monitored on a full-time basis.  Handling fees are applicable when product is being moved in and out of the cold room facility.
Vv4 AGRI also offers transport, bin rental, bin manufacture and bin repairs, depot facilities and packing services from our premises and we encourage you to make use of our other services.

Vv4 AGRI is experienced in receiving fresh fruit, pips and dried fruit.  Knowledgeable staff is present on site to ensure that a constant throughput and a hygienic environment is maintained when produce is handled.  Workers are effectively managed on site to ensure productivity and optimal performance.  Inventory control is used to strictly monitor and record product on arrival and departure.  Vv4 AGRI’s premises currently serve as a depot for SA Dried Fruit (Pioneer Foods) as our premises is ideally located to their customer base and close to their markets.

Depot services and facilities are available from where you can distribute your produce to your customers and potential customers that are centrally located in the Boland region for vegetables, fruit, etc.  Forklifts, spacious cement loading bays, a container loading bay and a large under cover area to store depot products and heavy duty scales are all available and being used to offer depot services.
